Americas Gold & Silver hits bonanza grades at Galena in Idaho

August 25, 2025 – Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — Americas Gold & Silver Corporation (TSX: USA; NYSE American: USAS) announced that recent drilling at its Galena Complex in Idaho has intersected exceptionally high-grade silver mineralization, marking one of the strongest exploration results from the historic mine in recent years.

The company reported multiple intercepts returning “bonanza grades” of silver, with assays indicating grades significantly above the current reserve average. Management highlighted that the results not only confirm the continuity of high-grade mineralized zones but also demonstrate the potential to expand resources in areas previously considered underexplored.

“The Galena Complex has long been known for its high-grade silver, but these latest results exceed expectations,” said Americas Gold & Silver President and CEO, Darren Blasutti. “These bonanza-grade intercepts reinforce our belief that Galena remains one of the most prospective silver assets in North America. Our drilling is unlocking significant value and supports the long-term future of this operation.”

The Galena Complex, located in the prolific Silver Valley mining district of northern Idaho, has produced more than 250 million ounces of silver since its discovery. Americas Gold & Silver, which owns 60% of the mine in a joint venture with Eric Sprott, has been investing heavily in exploration and infrastructure upgrades to extend the mine’s life and enhance production.

Analysts view the discovery as a positive catalyst for the company, which has faced challenges in recent years due to lower silver prices and operational setbacks at other mines. With silver demand rising amid a push for green technologies, the timing of these results could position Americas Gold & Silver to capture renewed investor attention.

The company plans to release an updated resource estimate for Galena later this year, incorporating the new high-grade drill results.
